On the road to Trilby Station 120kms SW of Bourke NSW Hi Bill & Staff at Royal Flair, We have just returned from a wonderful 3 month trip up North via NSW & Queensland Outback, Far North Queensland and down the Coast back to Victoria. Got to Karumba on the Gulf of Carpentaria and up to Cooktown. What a beautiful country. We covered some 12,000 kilometres and experienced some interesting places, AND weather, along the way. Just to let you know that our trusty 19 ''Van Royce held up really well. No problems other than a small gas leak in one of the bottles, the replacement of a fridge element, and our water heater becoming loose after a trip on a corrugated outback road!!Dusk at free camp Carmila Beach QLD We are so happy with our Royal Flair, it''s so well built and comfortable (and of course, good looking) that we have had people asking for a look inside. The bi-fold table you put in for us worked really well, giving us more space than ever and attracted favourable comments. We are more than happy to do a bit of advertising for you. By the way, our Nissan Pathfinder was a sturdy and reliable tow vehicle, a good match for the Van Royce! Comfort at Hervey Bay Qld

We found ourselves in all sorts of interesting situations on our 10 week holiday in 2006. In some areas what were usually dry tracks had become swollen rivers and after several unexpected crossings towing our little AVan and not to mention a million corrugations, we decided we needed a van with more off-road capabilities. There are so many off-roaders on the market and up until we seriously started looking for a new van, we had never heard of Royal Flair caravans. Funnily enough, there were two Royal Flair Discoveries at the caravan park in Longreach Qld where we were staying. We were so impressed by the way they looked that we approached one of the owners to ask if she was pleased with her van. She said she could not have been happier and although they had never been off-road with their rig, she said they did have a friend who travelled along the Gibb River Road frequently and that they had no problems at all. bondin1 Now here we are 12 months later, with our own Royal Flair Discovery and like that helpful lady from that caravan park in Longreach, we too could not be happier. It still amazes us at how many people come over to our van to tell us what a good looking rig it is and yes we think so too. bondin2 Our Discovery handled the Gibb River Road without a hitch and I still can not believe that after hundreds of corrugations, when I open the door, that everything is still in the same spot that I had placed it. The van has one of the best independent suspensions we have seen. It also tows beautifully and river crossings are no longer a worry for us. This caravan is true luxury; we do not feel like we are roughing it in any way. We added a few extras, which we are so glad we did. The dual solar panels let us enjoy watching DVDs , run our Engel fridge and lights when were on the road and adding a full size fridge, freezer is one of the best decisions we ever made.We have had many fellow travellers approach us over the 6 months that we have been out on the road and we are more than happy to tell them that choosing a Royal Flair Discovery is one of the best decisions we have ever made. bondin3

Well, here we are in sunny Perth and I finally have full internet access. I''have attached quite a few photos of our "little girl", I have also attached a bit of a little story for your website. We plan to be back in Melbourne by the last week of November, as we have to leave by mid January to come back to Broome. Apart from the air-conditioning there are a few minor things that need to be fixed. "She" has performed beautifully....love the suspension Bill, we have had people take photos. I will give you a call when we get closer to Melb, so we can book her in. bondin4

Kindest regard Barb
