No one wants to be worrying about planning meals when they’re on holiday. Take the effort out of cooking and try some of these easy recipes for camping.

1. Easy bacon and scrambled egg croissants

First, fry off some bacon and set to the side.

In a bowl or mug whisk however many eggs you want and pour into a hot pan, stir until scrambled and cooked (add cheese for some extra flavor).

Next cut open some croissants, these can be heated over a fire or in an oven if preferred.

Add in the bacon and eggs and enjoy!

2. Ham and cheese pull apart loaf

Grab a loaf of bread and butter all of the slices both sides (optional: mix butter and garlic together and spread on the bread).

Put it back together in its loaf position and place ham and cheese in between all of the slices.

Wrap it up in foil and place in the oven or next to a fire. Rotate until cheese inside is melted and the bread is toasty on the outside.

3. Tacos

This easy dinner will make everyone happy!

Fry in a pan some ground beef and add taco seasoning and beans as desired.

While the meat cooks prepare some tomatoes, cheese, avocado, and lettuce.

Place everything in bowls and have everyone build their own taco. Add sour cream and salsa to top!

4. Smores

What better way to end the day camping with some smores around the fire!

Grab a packet of plain biscuits like digestives as well as a thin chocolate (this is just easier to build it, try Hershey’s or Lindt) and a pack of marshmallows.

Place the chocolate on the biscuit, cook a marshmallow over the fire and place on top. Add a second biscuit on top and sandwich it all together, wait a bit for the marshmallow to melt the chocolate and enjoy!
