Make sure you’ve got these 7 Essentials for your next Caravan Trip
No caravan road trip would be complete without these essentials. Make sure you’re as ready as you can be for the best trip ever.
1. Make a checklist
It’s easy to forget items in the hustle and bustle of things, having a checklist ensures you have everything you need. It also helps with packing up at every site to ensure you have everything you need or if you may need more of something.
2. Don’t forget these items
Fire extinguisher, map, first aid kit, knife, cooking equipment, backups.
3. Perform regular checks
Before you set off again after a stop, check everything. Screws can come loose and things unstable and it’s better to find out at the campsite than on the road in the middle of nowhere.
4. Teamwork
Living in a confined space can be wearing on the best of people. Communicate and work together to get tasks done like setting up and packing up. Not only does this enforce a good relationship, but it ensures things are done properly and safely.
5. Have a routine
The best way to get things done is to have a solid routine. This ensures you don’t forget things like important items or procedures that could cause issues further down the road.
6. Prepare for all terrains and situations
Snatch straps, spare tire/repair, recovery tracks, hydraulics, dual battery, shovel, radio/satellite phone. You can never over prepare as you never know what situation you may find yourself in.
7. Enjoy the trip
Caravanning is a unique experience of its own and there are so many little things to enjoy about it. Make sure you sit back and take it all in before it becomes just a treasured memory.

My wife and I have been thinking about getting a Royal Flair caravan and going on trips with it. I’ll have to make sure that I do the regular checks before going on the trip. I wouldn’t want to have any problems while on the road. http://www.ballaratcaravans.com.au/new-caravans/royal-flair
